What exactly does this entail and how's it done?

Buy a new tensioner at Ford Parts Counter. Sick a 1/4 in socket end in the tensioner and compress him - when you do belt is loose. Pull belt off of alternator, then it falls off. One bolt for old tensioner and that's off too.

Then install new tensioner and new belt. Take a cell phone pic of the belt routing before you take it off. Last part of new belt to go on is the Alternator pulley - with the new tensioner fully compressed.

Not that hard. You may want to replace the idler pulley too.

Thanks, got it, went to Autozone, but they were closed. Where can I get the Gatorback belt from? I am assuming the idle pulley is the black one?
