The engineers at BBK have just released an all new line up of high-flow Mass Air Meters for owners of the popular 2003-2004 Mustang V8 models or those enthusiasts who are retrofitting an EFI motor into an early muscle car or street rod.

Starting with an all new 356 aluminum casting, each unit is powder coated then fully CNC machined to exact specifications before being fitted with one of BBK’s new electronically calibrated mass air sensor modules to ensure an accurate air/fuel ratio for the best possible performance potential. Dyno testing has shown up to 15 RWHP gains while maintaining an accurate air/fuel ratio, unlike some competitor’s units that are not electronically calibrated that may fail to maintain the all important air/fuel ratio.

Ok, so what are the thoughts on these meters? They appear to be plug and play. Anyone tried them? They say that they are new but I'm not sure how long they have been out.

Not really gaining anything imho. Measure vacuum on the plenum. If it goes to zero when you throw the blades to wot, that's not a restriction.

You upgraded to a 90mm N/A right? Just for spray?

And the 39lb injectors! Right now, with the porting work on the heads and the runners, I have an engine VE that hits 1.17!!! Even Greg Banish took a look at my data logs! Really lucky in the port work I did on my heads, probably couldn't replicate it if I tried! :D April 2nd will be a few runs NA at NED to see what I've done. She kicked out from me in third just a bit last night and I hit 6927RPM! Limiter is @ 7k.

Ok I see, if you weren't SC the 80mm is still in range with ported heads etc?

I can't wait to get to the drags. I want the head cooling kit first - just to be safe- you added this didn't you.. Post your best N/A time, no traction excuses accepted. :D

I'm sure the 80mm would have been fine. Actually, no cooling mod. My late 04, 9 thread heads supposedly cool better. I have stickier shoes going on my full size spare rims. Got them used off craigs list cheap.
