I just stopped in today without calling first. :D

The guys were actually happy to see me. Told me the car was coming along fine. I said I needed to get some sunglasses out of it, so I could see it. They told someone to get them, but wouldn't allow me back because it was before 5pm and for insurance reasons. I asked if I could stick my head in the garage and just look at it without walking in, they said that was fine.

Well the car is moving right along! It already had a new 1/4 panel and they were prepping it for paint. Plus the bumper was off so they were on that too. I mentioned I would be back next week and pick it up saturday morning. They were fine with that.

The guy also said "That's a rare car, we don't see too many of those. How is it on gas?" So we shoot the breeze for a few minutes and I was off.

Sounds like this is going just fine. I asked if the part was new or used, they said used. I said I didn't care as long as it looked good and lasted. So getting back together is going great, I am just not sure on the quality of the work and won't know for probably two more winters if they did good or not. We will see!
