Has anyone had any problems with theirs or had to replace them? I'm referring to the EPC solenoid , Lock-up TCC solenoid and the Shift solenoid pack.

I'm having slight uses with my converter unlocking/locking several times while under load so it's possible one or more of the solenoids is bad (hopefully!!), converter is bad or converter clutch is bad. I should know this weekend if it's something mechanical or not.

If you have recently unplugged or ever unplugged the conector on the valve body I would check to make sure it hasn't come loose. The conector to the solenoids inside the pan is hard to get back on and it is easy to only get one or two contacts partly snapped on. This condition will cause intermittent problems as you have described!

It has never been apart yet. Suppose to be getting the Jmod done soon so if it's not the converter that is bad I'm just going to replace all three solenoids.

Also check the shifter linkage adjustment - if it is slightly "out" when in the drive position the O/D will drop-out under load or at highway speeds.

I had the bolts fall out of my linkage plate one day. I had to drop it in 1st to engage "drive"

I've had a trans problem for the past couple of months that when in drive under WOT my car quickly changes gears up and down as if i were pressing the gas and brake pedal back and forth. Don't know if this could also be bad solenoids

I have changed all of the solenoids you listed, was easy, just take your time and work cleanly.

I've been talking to "Z" about the problem and he thinks it's either the torque converter clutch going up (converter replacement needed) or just something in the tune. I think it could be one of this solenoids acting up which are controlled a little more by something in the tune since I have a 4R75W. I've got 154k on my trans and it's been ran hard but it's never slipped or skipped a beat.

I've had shift solenoids go in other cars with 4r70's. Usually, it makes a buzzing noise when it tries to activate then the gear slips. Most likely it's the lockup clutch failing, they're known to wear out quickly, especially when they're run hard.

Perhaps I should mention that my trans solenoids suspicion issue doesn't occur when click my o/d switch to off.

If you haven't done the jmod or almost full fluid change its a good time to change them out since the valve body will come out.

Good thinking. I'll wait to do this all once soon as I have the cash. Thanks

Solenoid failures are not very common. One thing to check is fluid seepage into the main control connector. This failure requires replacement of the harness.

How do you check this ?

You should talk with a transmission expert first or have someone ride along with you (another member here) and see if they notice it or something.

Only reason why I am replacing mine is they don't cost that much, the guts of the transmission will already be exposed and I have 154k miles on mine, so better to avoid any issue with them in the near future and do them now while its all open.

This sounds very much like a problem I am now having, I am interested in hearing the solution to your problem. My first thought was to has the transmission serviced but money is very tight so am hoping to try an tackle this one myself.

Until I have this looked at I won't know but its nice to hope someone else might figure it out as I'm very tight on money as well.
