I put power slots on front 20 months ago, and now see rust on fins and areas not contacted by pads. Anyone know of rotors that truly do not corrode, until maybe 8 years old or so??? Other than rust, ps rotors are fine, true oem replacement fit.

are they zinc plated or something?
zinc will offer the best corosion resistance usualy

There are nickle plated rotors out there that are more resistant than the zinc wash but I don't think they are available for our rides.

Gold Line Brakes, the folks who did my calipers recently, also do rotors.

Any hardened steel parts will get surface rust if they have not been coated in an area that is not touched by the brake pads to clean it up.

If you did not buy zinc coated rotors then you need to get a high temp spray paint made to handle brake heat and paint them so it will not happen down the road.
