it seems everything close to me has over 100k miles on it and always has a high asking price :(. Then tonight I found this one....

it would be perfect and of course its halfway across the country :mad2:. Why do 99% of dealer lots put high prices on these cars with over 100k miles on them? Im finding ones around my area with 110 or 120k miles on them and asking prices of 14 or 15 grand. This sucks :shake:

Price seems a little high.
for the link i listed????????????? are you freaking kidding me?? Thats the cheapest I have found with that low amount of miles. Local cars ( within 500 miles of me ) are going for MORE than that price with triple the milage

im thrilled with it, but its too frigging far away. Guys im telling you this is by far the best thing I have come across in the last 2 months. The cars close to me must be made with gold plated body panels and diamond crusted longblocks because they are sky high with their asking prices.

LoL, nope..they obviously don't know much about it, it's not a Grand Marquis.

I got lucky...waited a week and 1 of the 2 I wanted dropped $2K ($13K to $11K). The other dropped from $11K to $10K but had 20K more miles...mine had 55.5K at time of puchase. BTW, I just bought mine 12 days ago. I live in SC and the car was in New Mexico. Check out my thread "New MM owner here!" to get all the details. Mine is a SB. I absolutely friggin' love it...glad I was forced to wait a week!

I here ya man. I've been looking hard for 3months and I'm going with the one in ga for 9900 with 111k miles. But also I did not check auto trader for 2 dam days and there was one in kentucky for 8500 with 42k miles and someone got it buy the time I seen the ad. But that was the marauder buy of a life time so don't let that make you think!. So ur going to get about what I'm going to get for maybe one grand less. or 80k miles or less or a 04 with under 100k miles for about 13000 and up. So yes the one you found is a good deal. And if it's far but a good deal investigate as much as you can Befor you go. And when you do find one let me know so I can get a car fax for you

I was going to suggest this too. Totally worth it to save a few grand and have a great adventure as well. Just make sure the car is well presented before making the preparations.

I sold a GT500 to a guy from Texas a few years ago this way. Then he drove it to Vegas for a Carroll Shelby extravaganza. I sure envied that guy!

If I were looking for a used MM I would want the one with both the lowest miles and the least modifications. Given 6-7 years have passed since they were new the average MM probably has around 70-90k miles. Modifications are a personal thing and I think other than a nice supercharger they bring little to nothing regarding used car value (or may even lower it.)

Go for the one in Kansas....surely you can talk him down on the price a bit....and the drive will be well worth it.....I love to hit the road in mine.....nothing better than a long road trip to get to know your car.

Don't be afraid to travel. Flew out and drove back over 500 miles with my Marauder. And she was/is certainly worth it.

I flew from Buffalo, NY to Oklahoma to get my F350 Turbo Diesel. Drive back was nice. Long. But nice. Got so sleep two nights in it...... Flew out Thursday afternoon, and was home in time for a party at 5:00 Saturday.

If you find what you want, boo a one way flight to go get it. If it tuns out to be not as nice as you expected, book a flight back home. Yeah, it could be a few hundred $ loss, but the adventure is priceless.

It took me 3 months to find my marauder. But that was back in 08 when they were a little easier to come by. It only took that long cause I was picky with the year and the option that I wanted. But I'm glad I stuck to my ground I love my marauder. And it was the cheapest, closest and lowest mileage 04 I found with a moonroof.
