Anyone using these?
i need a good all season...especially one that will handle the interstate in heavy rain.
also, correct me if im wrong, but it looks like 235/50-18 in front will work with a 255/55-18 on the rear and traction control?

comments? opinions?
thanks in advance.

If these are the tires I'm thinking of, may not be a good choice. PM 03mmmonroe, I believe he had them on his car for like 2 days.

Yes, the 255/55/18 will work just fine with the TC. I ran the Nitto 420s for a couple years with no problems. Good tire, I just jumped on a OEM tire deal last fall. My 4.10s are going to chew em up. The 420s tires had better traction.

i have nitto 555s all around now. they are great when its dry, not so great when its cold and/or wet...hoping the falkens will be a better all season, since my MM is my daily driver.

Crap shoot on any non snow tire for winter performance. Thats why I went with a dedicated package for winter. Even with studs on the rear the TC saved the car couple times.

The Nitto 420s with OEM fronts were fine. I had no problems the few times I caught out in the rain.

Are the nitto 420's a 3 season tire? And do they outperform BFG for winter.

I did not test mine in snow, but others I talked to were not impressed with them in snow. I also went with a dedicated snow package when I purchased the car new in 04 so I have no experience with OEMs in snow.

I'm running the 912's now. Had them for a few months now. Not a bad tire, quiet, run 70+ down the hwy with no trouble, nice in the rain.

Ran the S/T Z-01's before. Tire stores around me can't get them for some reason. So I figured I'd try the 912's.
