SOLD!

Spring Cleaning-
Four factory marauder rims, all in nice shape. First is very clean, second has a small scratch, third and fourth have scratches where they were balanced on the outside rim. Pictures attached.
Asking $800, plus shipping, unless you'd rather pick them up. Shipping should run $20-30 per wheel, depending on where you're at.
Location-South Whitley Indiana, west of Fort Wayne.

Great price and they look good overall. Wish I had the extra scratch now, I'd take a ride. Good luck with the sale.

How did they balance this wheel with the weight on the outside edge as you claimed ?

Stryker, didn't get the pm.

Joemerc-the guy I got these from had them on his marauder. Tire shop put weights on two before he caught it. You can see the marks from the weight pretty clearly in the pics where it scratched the finish. He was so disgusted with it that he put four new oem rims on it (most likely at least partly at the tire shops expense). As to how they balanced them with weights on the front, I wasn't there to see it-although I had a tire jockey start to weight the front of my '91 stangs 5 stars when I stopped him. Also got back my roadmaster wagon with the nos impala ss rims I'd just dropped off-directional tires mounted backwards, and weights on the outside rim, despite instructions to the contrary.
Bought a '78 cougar xr7 cheap from an owner after the quickie oil change place never drained the pan, but filled it and sent it out with double the oil-spun a rod bearing pretty quick... I imagine this stuff happens more than most of us like to think about.
