I really really don't wanna sell this, but it looks like I have to.

What I have is a 2004 Gibson flying v guitar. This is a 1967 reproduction guitar. The story behind this guitar is like none other. I personally bought this guitar from Marky Ramone of The Ramones. It was given to the band as a gift from Gibson for making it into thr rock n roll hall of fame. So this is a piece of music history.

I have Markys signature on the pickguard and a second pickguard with the signature too.

I will literally be drowning in tears when this sells. Price is $5,000.

Need cash for living. Guitar is in perfect shape. Needs nothing. Hardshell case includded.

No trades. Pictures soon to follow. Thank you for looking.

You don't sound like you want to sell it. Find another way so you are not kicking yourself from here on out.

Selling your-short is not the answer.

Quick fix but not a long term answer.

Dom, I bet that thing would sell for a good amount on Ebay. Do you have paper work or pictures of Marky with it?

Get a job that can support you and keep the guitar.

They were inducted in 2002. Gibson waited 2 years before congratulating them? Weird. btw I'd love to have a Flying V. Probably not a $5,000 one though.

I have two. Still not enough.

Actually you're right and I feel like an idiot. :o

The guitar is a 2002. I got it signed in 2003.

Wow...... :shake:

I think this proves how out of it I am and unmotivated to sell.

Thanks! Saw him a few years back. The Head Cat was thr opener. Check them out if you like Motorhead, Stray Cats and Rockabilly!

Dick Dale is awesome.
yes he is! Why can't we be friends Rob?

Actually no. It has its own feel to it and is annoying as can be to play sitting down. Sounds great though!

I still think your knuts and will forever kick yourself after you sell it. Time to re-evaluate. I have "items" that are precious to me too. I was offered double what one is worth recently. A simple stern "not for sale" answer took care of that. I usually use the line "how much money you got" when asked about the DTR. Shuts em all down. Dealers to Joe Schmuck.

^^^ Very glad to hear this.
IDK if we can be "friends" in the normal sense, but I think we can be civil to each other on the internet.
I'm over the whole parts purchase thing, I just don't think I'll buy parts off you ever again, that's all.
Live and learn I guess.
