I've been thinking of modifying my intake setup . First changing the TB to a twin 62mm like LML has, Second using the intake tube from a SC marauder ( you know those carbon fiber ones, just because they look so damn cool ), third buying a heat shield for a CV/cobra and moding it to fit right and 4th a K&N conical filter ( why?? **** if I know it just looks cool). I think that would be nice. Just thinking out loud.

The part you are seeking is called a "bellows." Kenny Brown is the only manfacturer I know of that's using true carbon fiber. It's expensive, expensive enough for you to seek alternatives.

TrickFlow makes a bellows kit for the LT1 that looks like it would work on the MM induction path. Look here, at "air inlet elbow" and decide for yourself?

I'm working on something. Not as slick as carbon fiber, but still a lot better looking than the stock plastic one. I should know in about 1-2 weeks if it works out, then I'll post pics.

They make a nice unit as well. I'm looking at one of these for when I go to the 90mm Lightning MAF.

Well, my plan didn't work out. I got a C&L elbow for a Lightning but it angles up toward the hood and does not allow enough clearance. Maybe the LT1 one from Trick Flow would work, but it seems to curve too sharply. The ones made for S/C kits look like the best bet if we can get somebody to sell them separately at a reasonable price.
