What would you want them to do to your Marauder if they "Overhauled" you?
I would want dark and even more sinister, lowered, custom seats, cool red face gauges and of course a bad ass drivetrain capable of 9's, but still totally streetable.

hmmm the engine im planing on building, a 9inch rear, and a stainless gas tank with aeromotive a1000 pump.....oh wait thats what i got in the works!
Call me crazy, but I'd want the interior re-done in black, and make it an El Camino or '55 Nomad style, minus the windows. I guess that is considered a panel truck. And with a beefy enough motor to haul ass, groceries, sheet rock, whatevs I feel like putting back there. I wish I had photochopshop skillz. :(

I'd want them to drop in a 427 Cammer, and 5 speed tremec TKO, 9" rear end, and a Wilwood big brake kit. Throw some snakes on the fenders and two matte black over-the-top stripes and- DONE! That would be one Baaaaad Marauder/Cobra lovechild.

That sounds awesome, would you keep it a four door? I'd like to have the exact same sized Marauder, but a two door version.

Simple: 10 second car with six speed manual and all that it intales (upgraded brakes, Trilolgy, NOS and lots of bling under the hood), stereo system, lowered just a hair, and a God's head hood liner!

A naturally aspirated 427 would be bad ass!! Of course with a drive train upgrade too. 6sp manual would be perfect.

I'd say "no thanks" to a lot of their cosmetic touches if it was MY Marauder. Haven't liked (m)any of the cars that they've done because I think Foose's wheels are kinda hideous looking.
BUT:
If it was a beat-up Marauder in need of a restoration, I'd want them to go Parnelli Jones on it.

Make the suspension way stiffer and better suited for autocross/road course, put in a high-revving V8, and put in a roll cage.

I'd have to stick with the automatic, it's only a matter of time before my back won't allow my legs to operate a clutch.

Convertable hard top, roll bar, Recarro seats, shaved door handles, total voice comand, accessible hidden laptop & expresso machine, shortened frame 110" wheelbase, IRS independent rear, all wheel drive, big brakes by Willwood, six speed paddle shifter, stelth radar for all types, night vission windshield, night vission rear view mirrors, hid lights, 600 hp/tq at 50mpg. I,am sure I left plenty out.

I'd want them to leave my MM alone and do my 46 Ford PU. Maybe stick a MM engine in it to keep it with the theme of the thread.

I saw a 58 Chevy Sedan Delievery, 409 4 speed, (Car Show)
It had an ImpalaSS trim on the dash, doors & center console (including gauges, from a 67) and a brookwood trim on the rear door. single tail lights on each side. The bumper was from a station wagon, and back up lights in the bumper.
It ws a beautiful pearl yellow and Torque thrust rims.
With a rear facing Impala SS seats (like the front) and a flat screen that
swung down, and kick ass audio system. Alpine in the glove box. I don't know where he hide the amps, but you knew it was there. He had a Movie goiing on. How could you not like this ride.
Nice Ride. Not a MM, no accounting for teast. Love the car anyway.

I would like a built big bore 5.3 with twin t76 and a th400 with gear vendors, remade the interior the exact same way but put a high quality leather instead. That's it.

....:hmmm:
Drop in an a 2x4bbl all aluminum 427 FE or a bored and stroked F.I. BOSS 529.
Put a T-56 Magnum 6 speed behind it followed by a built 9" rear.
Last, I'd put a big 'ole Hurst "cue ball" knob on the gearshift.
DONE!

Personally, I'd rather not have them touch it as dislike most of their designs. The Parnelli Jones idea is awesome though.
I'd definitely take the Magnaflow exhaust they always put on and a supercharger.
Cosmetically, I'd like to see the door handles shaved, emblems shaved, lowered, and paint the car pearlescent black. I'd want them to keep the OEM wheels but you know Chip wouldn't go for that.
Interior wise, I'd replace the grey dot matrix with a piano black and leather wrap the upper dash panel and upper door trim.

agreed. this car would be a million times more fun to drive with a manual trans.
i would like to see what chip would come up with on his own. i like most of his designs altho i'm not big on the wild paint schemes sometimes.

I agree the interior is pretty much perfect the way it is. I think red gauges would be a good change though.
Where did you find that new banana guy in your sig?

I'd want them to make the bumpers stick out less, get rid of the chrome trim, and make some custom 20 inch wheels that look just like the originals or at least as close as possible. Then a big brake kit and a custom paint. Maybe a two tone fade with a dark gunmetal grey and black. Custom hood that looks like a 2003 GT mustang. I like the interior but a few modern looking touches would be nice. And of course a blower!
