What did you use to complete this mod?

all you really do is just stick the posts behind the seat. no drilling required, this way if you change your mind or need to remove them, its no biggie
Got any pics? Would like to see.

My 2¢ regarding "just stick the posts behind the seat" ...
In a severe rear-end collison what will stop the rear passengers from getting impaled by the headrest posts when they come thru the rear seat upper cushion ?
MEANING: The head(s) of the passenger(s) would be slammed against the headrest(s) causing it(them) to pivot ( there is no bracketry preventing this ) backwards. Since the fulcrum is the tray deck / top of the seat, the post(s) would pivot towards the front of the vehicle. The rear upper cushion only has a ¼" round rod 6"-8" from the top that spans the cushion, otherwise it's just foam and seating material and the headrest post(s) could easily puncture-thru that. And ... your rear passengers will NOT be happy.
In an accident situation I would not depend on luck that the post(s) may be (?) stopped by hitting the ¼" round rod. ESPECIALLY since the headrests are not anchored by anything other than friction.
THOUGHT: A plate mounted to the front of the headrest posts that spans both and is long enough to insure that there would be contact with the ¼" round rod in a severe rear-end collision.

I too have thought of this. The rear seats look incomplete. That MM convertible looks great with the rear headrests. A lot of 4 door sedans have rear headrests. Why not my MM?

I do like the look too, but I would need to know that they would be safe in a rear ender.
If they came loose on impact might be ugly.

Chances are the rear seat passengers won't see a thing after being impaled in the neck. Soooo,, it would be ugly for any survivors in the front seats.. Ewwwww..
