I say michelin, we have a 3 ton that we have been using for 4 years with no leaks.
We jack up lots of trailers, and use them at least twice a week.

My dad has a 2 1/2 ton NAPA roll around jack that he has been using since the late 60's with no issues.

I got the 3.5 ton from Costco and have been really happy with it. Especially for 95 bucks.

I use an old Lincoln brand floor jack. The new ones hopefully are as good. Like you, I had a crapsman floor jack that was only a few years old and would leak down/not lift. It went to the scrap yard.

I just check their web price and it seems fair, $390 for 3 ton & $290 for 2 ton. Are their some company with the same product line but cheaper price that you know??

That was the cheapest price I found online. I bought the same jack at a dealership closing down for $50. It has never failed me.

Picked up an aluminum one at Harbor Freight for $59.00 with a coupon. Can carry it with one hand!

I had the HF aluminum one with the lighted saddle, great for about 3 months, now it's a doorstop...
