My question is how much horsepower & torque would this provide ? Price ? Labor ? As well as anything else I might need to know. Thanks

I would look into port and polishing the upper and lower intake's and have the heads CNC'ed. The CNC process keeps all the intake/exhaust ports the same diameter on all 8 cylinder's

Porting and polishing heads really will show itself when using forced induction. A good 3 angle valve job and oversized valves is a good option. Polishing the roof and getting rid of sharp edges can help prevent detonation and allow you to advance timing. Travis is right though, the best option is to have the heads cnc'd, then you match the plenum. NA, you'll gain volume, but, if done too much, you'll lose velocity which aids in stacking the air into the cylinder. With a turbo or sc, it allows the entire intake system to be more efficient.

So this plus what anything else is best for my n/a lidio tune/ jlt intake with flowmaster setup ? Also any price quote and good place in Florida to get it done ?

First: Are you staying NA?
Second: The minimal gains vs. expense are not worth it. NA, you'd gain more going with longer duration cams and it's be cheaper.

I agree.
If your staying N/A CNC'ed heads are not worth it.

Look for a set of 96 Cobra cam's and save the cash. They will give you 20~30HP and gobb's of TQ

I'm not looking.g for cams so who can answer this question ? Please and thank you

You will spend over $1500 for a good port & polish job. I don't think anybody has done that mod without doing a full rebuild with many more mods to go along with the head work.

If you're staying N/A you hit the point of diminishing returns, you can spend the $1,500 - $2,500 for incremental HP increases, but at the end of the day, around 350 rear wheel horsepower is about the max you'll see.

For most it is a waste of money. You will get very little gains in most applications for the money you spend. The 4.6 DOHC has excellent flow from the factory as do most modern engines.

Emmissions and MPG dictate highly efficent heads.

Maybe under drive pulley and 4:10s would be more bang for the buck?

4.10s and a tune, then maybe U/D pulleys, although they'll provide mininal improvement (primarily enabling the engine to spool up quicker).

I have a lidio tune and jlt intake. soon ill get u/d pulleys but I just want the facts on what a port &polish Hp/tq can produce on a marauder like mine ???

Since nobody has done that mod by itself yet, you can be the first. Let us know the before & after dyno numbers.

You will spend over $1500 for a good port & polish job.

This is approximately what the head work will cost. Add another $1k or so for gaskets and other parts & labor for the removal and reinstall. $2500 for small gains. That would go a long way toward a supercharger.

HONESTLY, if you just P&P the heads only, you could LOSE HP/TQ... You can lose velocity, which decreases the tuned intake effect of ramming air into the cylinder. Less air and fuel means less HP/TQ!
