I have 135 1/4 mile runs on a Reinhart S/C system. How many do you have?

Maybe 20. Only had it one for one season. Any point particular you are trying to make out of this thread?

Simply to determine which Reinhart S/Cs are racing and how often. Once that is determined we will be able to contact each other to exchange information.

Doing a burn out and then going WOT from a dead stop for ~12 seconds is rarely if ever done any where but the race track.

my car had 4 passes with original owner and over 30 with me.
sharing info: how do you launch your marauder with a high stall converter?
flash it, i gota best of 1.72 60' doing it.

Watch your intake temps when the ambient gets over 90*. My IAT hit 167* yesterday at the track when ambient was 95*.

Race fuel helps prevent high IAT induced knock.

And how much psi are you generating at idle? Are you venting to atnosphere or is the bypass recirculating?

I vent to atnosphere. The highest I see at closed throttle is about 12* above ambient.

Ps My post orginially stated yesterday referring to my other thread about my day at the track. I changed it to clairify at the track.

Gotcha, I was just curious if you were leading to a high mileage failure, or something along those lines.
Mine hasnt missed a beat. And Iagree, we need more centi-specific threads.

Generating vacuum at idle.
Recirculating air
I never go to the Track when is above 90* weather, the highest I have seen my iat at the Track is 110*.

LOL, the 1.72 60' pass was was hotlapping and the car did 11.92 @ 114mph.
I don't know about the fastest but certainly the quickest.
About the throne I know is gonna keep switching back and forth until one of us blows the motor.
Wish you were closer, our cars would put up a show side by side the hole 1320.

If you have a blow thru vent to atnosphere, just make sure the vent is not aimed at the ground or dirt will kick back clogging your air filter.

Well since were on the subject I personally dont drag mine but the last owner went 11.79 with a stock motor and A2A. I wasnt gonna bring it up landy. From the way FM climb the ranks last year I see possible better coming from him. The last owner (Killjoy) I beleive he had it posted in TS-Database.

We will see, I'm the underdog with the s-trim and running 20rwhp less also.
It should be a piece of cake for FM.

I'm at a horrific track notoriously known for running .5-.75 slower than other tracks. With good sticky tires, I'll get it down even more, hopefully. I'm not afraid to push the engine to its limits. I'm building another. I'm a tick away from 118mph, and am still banging my rev limiter at the 1-2. The car, as-is, has muchn more in it me thinks.

Cheers to you all for a safe racing season.

What U said is right though Landy you guys could go back & forth till one goes Boom. S-trim Vs T-trim he does have a leg up on ya. As for me I dont even have a track by me at the moment

My local Track is 13 miles away from home
The bad is the last times I have gone my car doesn't get full traction they dont spend time prepping the track.
I also have a new tune that got rid of the dead spot after 2nd gear. My street tune feels better than my old Track tune.

Fm you can play with your xcal to get rid of the rev limiter on the 2nd shift.

OK--I am now just reading all that has been posted and I like this thread--I should have thought of it long ago--thanks sailsman!!

I have one of the original water to air--one of the first 7 DR did--got it in Dec.'03..

Over time I have done a lot to it from adding helpful stuff and eventually a built engine ....its currently really de-tuned to about 460+ RWH --the engine is probably good to 700 at the crank --but I have not done any tuning since '06....funny thing is since then every time I go to the track--which is not often mind you--I do a tenth better ---to my best of 12.4 at the moment....so its more of me getting use to the old tune since I don't go often among a lot of other things of course.

I like this so called close group and will look into as often I can ---

Actually, DR should create a separate thread for us to post this kind of stuff--I guess it is already in his forum--but I was thinking a special thread --oh well--doesn't matter---I have a ton of questions of stuff to share to us kind!

Post edit--I did not answer the original question--How many 1/4 runs?--well I have about 25 at least --may be more --kinda feels more----will do a more thoughtful count later but that is probable more like 50--

I know. I think DR may have taken the options off my Xcal when he tuned it, because they are no longer there.

Call him up he will help you with that. That alone will give you a tenth or so
