6th Annual Louisville Meet - Directions Attached

OK folks,

Charlotte, myself and the girls took a 'dry run' to our destinations today while enjoying the nice weather.

I have verified the attached directions as 'true' and recommend everyone attending Louisville, print themselves a copy to have with them.

Notes to self:

Exit 94 - E'town - Make a right onto 61/62 and hold far right as the very next light we turn right to the Schmidt Museum. (Use emergenncy lane as necessary)

Leaving the Schmidt Museum and turning right onto 61/62, maybe about 2 miles we turn right onto 31W. Make sure and hold the right lane and the turn onto 31W is tight!

The Swope Museum is on our left down a bit on 31W.
Just past the Hospital, use center lane and try to use the first entrance into the dealership. (parking will be a PITA)

Leaving the dealership (turning left) make sure and get one lane over as a turning lane (only) and a traffic light comes up quick. We must travel straight on 31W.

Once we pass the above light, we can run shoulder to shoulder all the way thru Muldraugh. We will need to form one line (left lane) after Kosmosdale to make our left onto 1934 (Greenbelt Hwy)

Leaving Mike Linnigs we need to make a left out of the parking lot. (considering MM.net roadblock) :D

1. Head southwest on Alliant Ave toward Bluegrass Pkwy go 0.3 mi

2. Take the 1st right onto Bluegrass Pkwy go 492 ft

3. Take the 1st right onto Blankenbaker Pkwy go 0.5 mi

4.Take the ramp onto I-64 W

5. Take exit 15 for KY-1747/Hurstbourne Pkwy toward Jeffersontown/ Middletown go 0.2 mi

6. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Jeffersontowng o 164 ft

7. Turn left at KY-1747 S/S Hurstbourne Pkwy go 3.2 mi

8. Turn left at Hurstbourne Crossing Dr go 292 ft

9. Arrive at 9301 Hurstbourne Crossings Dr, Louisville, KY 40299‎

Highway is quicker. BGPW takes you through kind of an industrial park area.

I wouldn't do that Rex.

Take the 64W route as you will be making a right onto Hurstbourne Park BLVD from Hurtsbourne PKWY.

The other way would have you turning left onto Hurtsbourne Park BLVD, and that could take forever to get in there. (I am almost certain there is a median there restricting you from making that left?)

Streetview shows a no left turn onto Hurtsbourne PKWY when you leave, so plan on taking Bluegrass PKWY back to the hotel.
