View Full Version : Air Suspension Muffler

So as I was in the process of swapping the OEM air cleaner for a K&N CAI on the '03 I took notice that the little white muffler was missing the MARAUDER stamping on it. Did only the "04's come with the writing? Are they interchangeable? I know its kind of dopey to think about but I thought the Marauder stamping was a nice detail even if only MM owners would know about it. :)

I am quite sure the 300A's had the "Marauder" lettering on them as well.

mine has it.03 300a...does this "snorkel" mount somewhere or does it just hang loose from rubber hose???

it should mount onto the frame next to fan shroud.....IIRC

Mine had it also, but I removed it about 3 years ago, the noise was annoying and I could never tell a difference in the psi in my tires before and after it would kick on. Waste of plastic and hose.

Just checked at the dealer to see if I could get one and they said it comes with the pump and I'm not in need of a $300.00+ pump at the moment. Maybe the pump on mine was replaced with one from a GM.:dunno: If anyone has a spare or is parting out an MM and has one let me know.:)

Hey, I have an '03 and I am trying to figure out what this little white box does. Is there supposed to be a filter inside of it? It is important exactly where/how it is mounted?

It is supposed to hush the air ride pump noise a bit. No filter inside. The one for the Marauder should say Marauder on it.
