alignment questions

well me and the search function do not get along well apparently. i just had the nose lined up and i think it's off. i found the specs for our cars and will have them adjust it but i remember something about a nut or tab that needs to be removed. i saw a picture of it on here once but again i can't find the d*mn thing. what nut needs to be fixed and where is it?
