Problem with tune

I just installed my stock diablosport tune. 93 performance. it caused the car to ping under load. reflashed it to 91 and it was better but still pinged. any idea what would cause this?

Probably too much spark.

Does the car have a cold air kit, it is either lean or to much timing, maybe bad fuel, return the car back to stock and see if it still pings, if it does not you have your answer. I can make a Diablo tune based off of my parameters call me if I can help.

i did put the car back to stock and just firmed up the shifts for now. it did stop pinging on the stock tune.

This is common with the Predators. Too much timing. Let Dennis help you out!

my diablo tune works mint never had a problem. you can call diablo and they will sent you a new tune for every mod that you have and its free. youjust have to go to radio shack and get the link cable for your computer

You can't go wrong with a custom tune. Some of the other tunes out of the box don't work as well with the MM.

I tried checking out the settings on the programmer but it does not give me the actual number for spark advance.
