Who's a Trustworthy Mechanic in CTHi Everyone,

Anyone know a trustworthy mechanic in Connecticut?
( deatils in Shop Talk forum )
---
My 03 suddenly developed an intermittent starting issue,,,
After reading other posts, I'm guessing it's either Fuel Filter or Fuel Pump,,, ( hopefully a loose wire to the fuel pump ? ).
---
Fuel Pump reset not needed,,, red button not raised,,, already in down position
---
I don't trust this vehicle any more and don't want to be stranded somewhere.
Just need someone to diagnose and fix the issue.
---
Thanks in advance for any comments,
Bob Vincent

Hey Bob - good to see you're still around. Try Cromwell Automotive. I've had good dealings with them over the years
specifically w/ my Marauder (although primarily on exhaust work but as recently as last spring).

They're probably just as expensive as anyone on an hourly rate but they are nearby and worth a shot. They've got an appreciation for things that
go fast so you feel like they understand you are handing over your "baby".

Do some more searching on this site too, you'd be surprised what you'll find and you may find enough info on a similar issue that
someone else has had that you can share and it will speed up any repair you send the Blue out for.

Best,
Jonathan

Sounds like you got a good start on advice in the shop talk thread you made.

Keep us informed on what you find and will see what can be done to help you out.

Also do you have a yellow check engine light on while it is running that might give a better idea on what is going on?

You can go to a Auto Zone and have them check and see if there are any stored codes and let us know what they are.

Bob, I probably live no more than five minutes from you. Let me know, I'll come check it out. If I cant diagnose it, Jon is right, Cromwell Auto is on par.
