What is our MM practical experience formula for getting 1.7 & below 60 foot times? I didn't find old posts on the topic, which isn't saying much. My personal best is 1.95 or so, usually 2.0 plus!
Variables might include the following, but I have no idea how to rank-order them:
Good driver
Gear ratios
Wheel size & width
Tires
Relocating weight in the car (battery to trunk, etc)
Torque Converter
Enough horsepower
Drop the front anti-sway bar for the 1/4 mile
Ideas folks?

Stab the gas?
LOL, sorry.
Last yellow, NAIL IT. I achieve 1.73's to 1.80's right off idle to 2000 RPM. Just a good set of DR's.
Heck, the first 60 feet is the only thing I come for. After that I could care less:dunno:
Edited for mods to reach low 1.7's
Trilogy w/ 3.2 pulley
DR's
Conical air filter w/lightning Maf and MAFia using OEM zip tube.
Jmod
Metco control arms
Walbro 342 fuel pump.
Flowmaster, and rear cats neutered.
1.770 60FT
3500 stall converter
4.10 gears
Sparta control arms & watts link
Nitto NT555 295/45R18
Battery in the trunk
The best for me was to leave off idle at 1/2 throttle and roll into WOT. Any thing more would result in massive tire spin. I feel I was severely held back by my street tires I now have some Mickey Thompson DR hoping for low 1.700's this year

Real slicks on widened rims, 4.86 gears, transbrake, 2-step set to 3000 rpm and a 4000 stall converter.
That will get you sub 1.6's

Yeah.... and proper warm up and tire pressure of said tires... Ask me how I know!!! :mad2:Flashing the convertor works, if you get it right. You just need to practice.

LowbuckMM hits 1.6's with just pullies, CAI, 100 shot, DR's, and a tune.

A driver mod like mine lol
410's
28/10/16 slicks at 20psi
3500 stall tripple plate
the front swaybar off will help, I didn't take it off the last time I went racing
flash the TC
take the drivers headlight out
over 440rwhp well tuned
Long enough burnout and relaxation at the tree
That got me 1.72 to 1.78 60' times
