O K Folks--try this one--The North Texas SVT Club (the club that was so good to us at Chucks) is holding their "5th Saturday" meet at Johnny B's BBq in Southlake on April 30th. Registration starts at 5 PM ---if I can guarantee 5 MMs, we will have our OWN CLASS--Marauder Alley will be open. If you are interested, please try this link http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=56034&page=2 page 18
PLEASE make this one if you can--you can meet the new folks and we can make more plans for the year--there are some opportunities I would like to take advantage of--but I've got to have more than 2 or 3 MMs. Post up so you can be counted.
Also, the Lone Star Cougar Club meeting is this Thursday at Crystal's just East of McArthur on the Eastbound service road.. Meet in the parking lot at 6PM--inside at 7PM for the meeting--they have a buffet for those who are hungry. This group sponsored the original NTMs and we owe it all to them. They participate in a lot of activities we can join. One of these is the AER Car Show ---I'll post info very soon.
Also--The Cooper Institute Autos in the Park--check the thread.
NOW I don't want to hear anyone complain about nothing to do.
Let's see lots of posts, Maury

Thanks for replying--looks like Marauder Alley and our own class could be possible--don't worry about the paint condition--I have the same thing---just run thru the car wash and come on over. I am not trying to win trophies--just get enough Marauders together to draw attention and let folks know we exist. I am trying to put together a schedule of activities for the summer so you can plan ahead--let's get the momentum going. Anybody else out there ???? Just post your intentions. See you soon, Maury:D:D

For $10 --- door prizes and 50/50 pot--Marauder Alley will be open--I'll save parking spaces--ANYBODY ELSE PLANNING ON COMING ??????--The Marauders have been attending the North Texas SVT shows since 2003--had 21 MMs at one show---this happened after our Club picnic--had lots of fun back then-I still have hopes of doing it again. You should register for the Autos in the Park show ahead of time so they will give us a good parking area . Contact jack@jackdgriffin.com for registration info--same for AER show on May 7th. Let's get something going, gang. See you there--I hope;) Maury:burnout:

Maury that wasnt the correct contact info to register for Saturday 4/30/11, this is the response I recv'd this response for Jack.
Ken,
I'm afraid I'm not the contact person for the SVT car show. I'm the co-organizer of the Autos in the Park car show at Cooper Aerobic Center on June 5. We will look forward to seeing you at that show and hope you're able to find the correct contact to enter the April 30 show.
Best,
Jack

Last nite, Marauder Alley was officially open for business and we had "Mercury Marauder Class" again. Ken (MercNasty) and his friend, Brian showed up in their 2003 A and Bs and we had a great time getting to know each other. Since my MM is an "A/B" transition car, having everything an "A" has plus Traction Control, it made for an interesting discussion. Ken and Brian won "Class Winner " plaques. As you "old gang" know, NTM contributed much to their shows in 2004-2006--now they seem to think I represent the group and awarded me a trophy for "Best in Class". Hope the pics come out OK. O K all you "ghosts out there--JOIN THE FUN !!!!! See you soon----I hope;):burnout:
