Well gents, I picked up some 4.10 gears at the Charlotte show this weekend!! $142.00. Now I need to install those bad boys!:banana2:

I had one set for about 2 years then sold it then bought another set and a year later I finally had them installed. lol

You guys are going to love them!
4.10's were supposed to be in the rear from the factory, but the bean counters scratched them in favor of 3.55's for the extra 1mpg.

What is the recommended pinion depth for street use ?

You guys do realize the gear wont work unless they in the rear end!

What ever creates the correct pattern on the ring gear.

I've heard some people have had problems with anything but Ford.

Make sure they set the backset correctly. No whining allowed. I made it clear to my dealer that it would not be tolerated. The mechanic told me the first time he set them, they whined, so he took it apart again and made it right. They made little money at that point, but oh well for them.
