Really? People have a NEED to add their negative 2 cents about the motor swap? The interior, rear, suspension, and engine are impeccable. This is a drag/show car. Period. The engine is probably the least impressive thing on the car.
I've owned all the Americana over the years.......Dodge, GM, and Ford. If it's American, and it's badass, it's OK in my book.

Should have taken more interior pictures. It was cleaner and more well put together than the factory. The overhead chute latch was pure sex.

i definitely do not like the chevy in a ford thing but it is definitely well put together, not some hack job. just dont get the cross breed thing, coulda done the same with a bbf.

Not sure about the weight. Tranny is a TH400 I believe. Maybe Joe can chime in, it's his baby!

You Sir, are a genius.
Now, I am a Ford guy through-and-through, but the SBC and the "semi-hemi" BBC are some of the best internal-combustion engine deigns. Along with the original hemispherical Mopar V8s
Gotta give credit where credit is due.
I don't have the budget to go that route, but man, I just love the idea of it.

He could change out the Chevrolet valve covers for something with no writing and all but the most hard-core would never even know it was a Chevy engine:).

As we were applying throttle during burnout, the car was skipping and losing power. Seems to be either electrical or fuel problem - will be in shop this week, we'll let you know. That's why it's called test and tune - Joe
