I am taking this off in a few days to change in window motor. All I saw were three or four bolts for the interior piece. Do I unclip the window switch, remove the bolts and its off? Do I have to do something with the seat adjustment buttons?

Finally what about the window motor? Does it need any special tools to remove?

Thanks.

Dom, there are 3 or 4 bolts (screws?) around the bottom perimeter of the door panel, plus 2 "hidden" ones. One is obvious once you remove the window switch plate/cover (look down inside), and the the other is behind a little square cosmetic cover panel just inside the space where the door handle lives. You pry that little cover off with a small screwdriver. One of those 2 hidden ones is a Torx...I forget which.

Once you have the fasteners removed, the whole door panel lifts straight up. You can then unplug the wiring harness connectors for the seat position and heater switches, speaker, etc..

Oh yeah...you have to pry off the little triangular piece of trim opposite the mirror, too.

Thanks Bob. What about the window motor? Simple unbolt and unplug?
