Any one else know the fix? I tried some lubricant at the throttle body and gas pedal. Made it better but still sticks slightly. Anyone have an idea?

Maybe a shot or two of white lithium grease spray into the cable itself at the tb end? Take the cables/spring off of the TB and see if the cable moves within the cable shroud freely or sticks. You can also open up the tb blades manually and see if that feels like it's sticking at all on that end.

Glenn, more than likely the interior of the throttle body is gummed up from having the PCV vent plumbed into it from the driver's cam cover. Get some throttle body cleaner (NOT carb cleaner) that says it's safe for coated TBs, and use a clean rag and Q-Tips to get all the gunk out from behind the blades.

+1, probably crap in the throttle body. If all else fails take it to Toyota, they can fix that.

Maybe on the interior linkage?

My X's Toyota Camry has had way more issues than my car has had with roughly the same miles. Go USA!
(But the paint is ok!)

had the same issues and tried all the same things. pull the throttle body and clean it. remove the TPS sensor and go to town with some brake cleaner and a little time. reset the computer after you're done to correct the TPS sensor. then run some seafoam through the engine and get a catch can. musclemerc can hook you up with that.

Best to remove the throttle body and clean it with throttle body cleaner. Just make sure to remove the sensors first.

Pardon the "old thread alert" but, have you done anything about this? I had the same issue. I de-sludged the throttle body on my MM.

I agree with a good throttle body cleaning.

+3, a semi annual maintenance item.
