Windycity Marauder and Impala SS meet!!

So I Have this crazy idea. The idea of a Windycity meet for the twoo coolest 4 door sedans evermade. A meeting of the Impala SS and Marauder. I joined two Impala forums and so far 2 Impala owners are interested. No location or date has been determined yet. I am trying to gather the troops from both sides and then we can pick somewhere to go and meet the Impala SS owners. So far I have two Impala owners and 4-6 Mercs including Zack. So Chitowners. Let's get together for a meeting of the two coolest cars!! Post up if your down with it.

Most Sundays are free to cruise in and enjoy!

I got a lot more responses from the Impala guys. I think and I'll go back and check. I thought they mentioned that they have a meet April Thursday the 21st at Fudruckers in Schaumburg. I'll have to double check. If that is right, who's in for it. I still want to try for a bigger meet on a Saturday or Sunday. But if they want to hangout that Thursday. Anybody want to go to Fudruckers? I'm down with that.

So some of the Impala SS guys are meeting at the Schaumburg Fuddruckers next Thursday 21 around 6:30. I am going to try and make it. (depending on my aunt who has hospice care now). I thought it would be a good ice breaker and talk about a weekend meet too. Who's down with it.

Man it was good seeing all you guys again! Even those who I have had conflict with, it was great to be back to good terms again. :) I wanna have more meets like this, but a word to the Impala guys.... more of you need to drive your cars! ;) A few said they wouldn't because it was going to rain. It's a car, drive it, break it, repair it, repeat it.

Still I love those Impalas and wanna get one someday, just cannot decide on the color. We should definitely go to the track sometime and have a showdown. I wish I was ready for you guys, but I think a few heard the tick on the way out.

Thanks for planning this Joe! It was a great idea and I am glad I met a few new people as always.

Guys, It was great to meet and check out your Marauders back in 2003 when they came out I took one out for a test drive.
I have some friends that have the Crown Victoria P71 cars and they have them tricked out some also.


For the Salt Creek Sports Car Club here is the web site and a copy of the racing events for this year.. SOLO I and II Auto Cross.

If you are not sure about doing this they do take people for a ride along.
You do need for the parking lot events a DOT helmet and a Senll 2005 or 2010 one for the high speed events.
