Tuned out the converter locking up going into 2nd gear . Also as soon as I did that I actually had to turn down the shift pressure because it was shifting way too hard. It's just funny the converter locking up just before going into 2nd softened and slowed the shift down.

Should sound strong going up hill. Gentleman's rule, must announce any new mods since best 1/4 run. I have a feeling this will be a pure drivers race, can't wait!

Absolutely. I can't think of any new mods in the works before PA, but I will think about it and see what will be cost effective and squeeze a tenth out of it somewhere. ;)
I agree the race will be determined by reaction time and within the first 60'.

My jmod has yet to burn second unless I just don't hear it? At WOT the shift feels soft? Part throttle to mid, nice and strong.

I'm not Jmodded, and I never hear mine chirp either, even though I know the tires spin on second. Maybe it's the BF stockers that are quieter as far as that goes.

Doing the Jmod makes a big difference if you have an aftermarket converter installed. When I had my stock TC it would chirp 1-2 all the time with just the tune. Added my the PI 3500 triple disc and no more chirp even with shift pressure at max. Doing the Jmod, I actually had to back down the shift pressure to below zero cause it was too firm for my liking.
I haven't disconnected OD, I just turn it off as soon as I start the car up and only turn it on when I will be driving 50 mph or faster for a distance.

How did you drill the plate, what size drills did you use for each hole?

I had another MM owner who works at a Ford dealer do the J-mod plus some other stuff.

I'm putting the springs back in my car. The jerky shifts at part throttle are not worth the performance gains for everyday driving, imho.

Well I checked the mirrors the other day..... In 80*+ temp I jumped on her at 38 MPH and all felt normal, freight train pull, sloppy second, blah blah blah.. HOWEVER, the mirror revealed two black marks from the SECOND I hit the gas to about 10/15? FEET after the 2nd gear shift! Altogether 35 feet?? 40?? Very faint, but plenty dark enough to reveal. Yet NO noise! FAIL!
Is this a good thing?:dunno::D
I couldn't capture a video on the back up cam due to a crappy picture, but tried a couple times thinking that would be kind of a cool way to view!

Mine still does it with Negative shift pressure % setting on the 1-2 shift. No springs, 3500 stall converter, 4.10 gears and 265/50-18 nitto tires with about 160k miles on the dash.

Hmmmm interesting but that leads me to make other qquestion. what is the difference of the OD off or on ? what happenned if I turn off the OD ? I always have this doubt.

OD is for when the vehicle is cruising at a speed above 45 mph such as traveling on the highway for a long trip. I turn the OD off when I am driving around town in stop and go traffic. With OF turned on my car will shift into OD just over 35 mph if I am traveling that slow of a speed for a period of time which also takes the rpm out of any powerband range so if I needed to get back up to speed I'd have to give it more gas.

It's truly meant to be a steady speed cruising gear for better gas mileage.

Yes - with a proper tune/modifications what you describe is normal AND good! High speed rated/low sidewall tires are not know for making a lot of noise or leaving very dark marks unless you power-brake it and get the tires spinning fast & hot.
The first time I had this happen I saw two clouds of bluish smoke in the rear view mirror & thought it was burning oil!!
Turns out it was rubber burning!!!!!:D
