Thats Leons Brother, but in all seriousness, take yours apart. You will find it was water soaked and corroded. Simply burnish (clean the brushes, clean the armature with some croakus cloth and use a dental pick to clean out the gaps in the armature.) Then clean the end of the armature where it fits into the bushing and relube it with non conductive grease.

Relube and clean the whole shebang and you will be pumpin in no time. Paint and seal the unit, then take the desiccant unit and wrap it in foil with the ends exposed and the O-ring removed. Place it on the top barbeque rack (like your making corn) warmed to 140 degrees and leave it for an hour or so to re-dry it. Drill a few holes in the plastic tray so it drains better. 3 hours of your time and won't cost a dime.. Email me if you have any questions or if you are a window licker, I will walk you through it...
