Smart Man.... I was wondering when someone would jump on these.
The 99~01 Cobra cam's have just a little less duration than the 96~98's
Soon these will be as hard to get as the 98's and cost just as much

the 99 cams have 2 deg less and the 01 cams have 4 deg less. I see the 99 cam guys geting the same hp gains as the 96-98 cammed combos. You can get the 99 and 01 cams for less also. The guys with 96-98 cams seem to think they are made of gold these days.

The one in the pic has been sold. I have another that is from an 03 marauder and it's still on the engine, but coming off very soon.
I just realized I don't have any pics posted. Will try to get more pics posted tonite.

The engine has been sold. It's getting lower compression pistons so the hp will "only" be around 440 at the wheels.
Now it's time to start on my project. An 03 Mach auto that needs an engine but what I really want is a Marauder.
Anyone know where there's a decent Marauder for sale?

I'm looking for something, uh, less pretty...a track and dyno mule that will be used for the testing of intakes and cams.
I'm intrested in the 96-98 intake cams I've followed a lot of your post on the Mach1 forums these cams seem to be really go in N/A 20rwhp dot 2 dot and up to 40rwhp advanced 4* IIRC best of all they are far less expensive than a custom set. I'm courious how the cams respond to a centrifugal blower and a heavy car. Seeing as cams seem to be your specialty could you share some knowledge on this for me
Thanks
Nick

Sorry, man I must have misunderstood.....
I thought we were talking about the hydroboost booster that bolts between the firewall and master cylinder.
You were referencing the P/S pump.
I have no interest in the P/S pump whatsoever, sorry about the confusion.

They work great on a heavy, FI car when installed at LCs as low as 108. I wouldn't hesitate to go as low as 104 on an n/a car that sees RPMs no higher than 6k. Using theTFS crank gears, I would set the exhaust cams at 116 and then advance the intake cams to 108. The TFS gears are only $39 and offer 8 deg of adjustability in 2 deg increments.

01s, the 99s have been sold but I haven't gotten payment yet.
I wouldn't hesitate to use either set, especially if the engine isn't one that sees 7000rpm.
