Is there any advantage to using a non mmc police diveshaft in place of the stock marauder shaft?

You're wallet will be lighter, so less weight = go faster.

1. Is it cheap?
2. Do you find yourself at 120mph+ often?

For me, I just want to know that I'm not limited to 120 before the vibration starts. So an MMX driveshaft is on my list.

I thought the NON - mmc police shaft was the same as the oem Marauder shaft?

Well you would be replacing the driveshaft with a nearly identical one unless your stock one is damaged you are not changing anything.
