Anyone who has not drilled a couple 2-3 holes in the bottom of the Air Ride Compressor s' plastic tray that the unit sits in, I urge you to inspect yours for clogged weep holes.
I replaced the compressor a little over a year ago, and since this is a popular topic as of late, I figured I better at least give it a visual check.
I found standing water below the compressor that was not draining out the bottom.
I drilled a couple 1/8" holes in the tray and rinsed all the grit and debris out so it would stay dry.
The pump motor housing showed significant signs of corrosion already!.

I haven't drilled the holes, but any time I have to remove the JLT (couple times a year) I vacuum out the tray and spray down the compressor with WD40. Seems to work for me.

If I do drill the holes, what does the water drain on to?
