How do you guys deal with emissions out in CA? If I moved from MD to CA, what issues would I have to deal with?

Where in Cali? Well really depends on what your wanting to do? No long tubes, cats a must, only CARB approved SC Vortech/Paxton....

San Diego, do you need to have all four cats? Do they physically check underneath?

Depends on the Smog Tech but yes 4 cats. Some dont know to check for this however. The new/replacement cats now have to have a CARB stamp on them. SoCal is beautiful; San Diego is the only other place I would live in Cali.
