They will work but IMO they will be too skinny and won't look good on a Marauder.

You can get a set of Nitto 420S for cheaper then that and they will look great.

Your gonna kick yourself for putting SUV tires on the rear of your Marauder.
I've driven one with SUV tires and it was way too bouncy (they have -0- sidewall stiffness) and not to mention you will not have a ZR speed rating
This is just an opinion so please dont flame me

I think a 285/35 would look wayyy better. I don't understand truck tires on a performance sedan.

These are on the back of mine, and they are great at all speeds. Forwards speeds, backwards speeds, sideways speeds, low speeds, and high speeds. :D

My wife has these on her Escape. They're a crappy tire, and real loud; lots of road noise.

I'm running 255/55/18 General Grabber UHPs on the back of my car and have been very pleased with wear and performance. They have a 120 load rating and V speed rating, and an aggressive tread pattern.
That said, I'm thinking about going to Nitto 420s whenever this set wears out.

For $50 and if I was in a pinch, I'd buy them and use them as rear tires for awhile. I'd make sure to melt them off in a hurry though.

Like musclemerc & MMBLUE said^^ I will never run SUV tires again!
Unless it's just to melt them off!

I carry the stock 245/55/ZR18 BFG rear tire on my site. They are $220.00 per pair plus shipping, they dont last as long as we all would like but for $110.00 each it's hard to complain.

I've got the same tires on the back of my MM and I can not complain about them. They are a pretty good tire and not to cheap but not to expensive as to feel as if I'm pissing money out the window when I feel like melting them down once in a while.
And I have Generals in the front too.

Are you going with 255/55/18's on the rear? If so, then they'll work with T/C.
If you're staying with OEM rears (245/55/18) there'll only be a 1.6% difference in diameter which will cause issues with your traction control.
Need to maintain between a 3% and 6% stagger ratio front to back to keep the T/C happy.
Check out this site to calculate various tire sizes:

I noticed that you modified your website and removed the statement about the BFG's having a stiff sidewall like what should be on a Marauder.... :shake:

I've run the Falken Ziex S/Ts on both my MMs. Quieter and smoother ride than stock IMHO.
I couldn't find 255/55-18s that weren't a sport truck tire for a decent price, with a decent wear rating, and good wet weather handling. My current MM being my DD needed something that would last awhile with the 350+ miles I put on her each week for my commute and the daily chance of rain here in Florida.
Now once it's no longer seeing daily duty I'll be looking at some nice expensive grippy tires for dry weather only fun. Got to get this truck running soon, grrr.

My site gets something modified everyday, several times s day. I'm building it from scratch.
Thanks for visiting, look out for the new items and info comming soon. ;)
Oh yeah.... I run my stock BFGs at 42lbs. at this pressure there is plenty of sidewall strength.
