Ok, I work for a large bank so not exactly crawling with motor heads (unfortunately), but I got a kick out of a recent event. Just happen to walk out to the parking lot with a couple of younger co-workers (like mid 30s) when the one guy jabs the other guy whether his turbo TTi (or some sort) could beat my "Darth Vadar" machine (never knew they even noticed it). I didn't say anything one way or another. I reach my MM before them, took off my suit jacket ( hot out) and started the car (stock exhaust) and I hear the TTI guy say... "too rich for my blood"... Made this "old guy" proud without doing anything!

Think about it, scared of a eight year old, 4 door, black barge...pretty cool!

Good one man, I got a similar reaction at an old job of mine. A several weeks of watching or hearing me pull out of the lot, three co-workers finally caught me still parked, and asked me if I could pop the hood and see "what I was cooking with". I open up, lift the lid, and all eyes light up. Only one guy who moonlighted at his uncle's garage manages to stammer out, "Did you upgrade that? It looks like it's not supposed to be there, like some one sneaked it in there." I of course refute the claim save for a few mods, and offer to run them anytime. They all shake their heads, "not a chance . . ." was the only response.

Nice! Isn't it amazing that a 281 is bigger than a 69-70 Boss 429??? It is though! I get those omg moments from people when they ask me to pop the hood and see it. :D

Yep, you're right...looks menacing in there :burnout: But heck, I never even got to popping the hood, that would have really sent them over the edge!
