I got the chin spoiler and the new license plate holder on her today WOOPY!

They shorted me 6 bolts, 12 washers and 6 nuts so I had to run out to the hardwear store and grab some more but that was easy enough.

The license plate bracket was cracked by a former neighbor's car and I got tired of seeing it @ the car shows that way.

But I decieded to go against the install instructions and mount the center of the chin spoiler first. I wanted to make sure the center hole on the spoiler matched the same position as the center tooth on the bottom of the bumper cover and work my way out to the sides.

It came out perfect as far as I am concerned.

Just one suggestion take the 2 covers underneath the bumper cover and driving lamps to make the job that much easier.

24415

24416

24417

But before you put the bolts in for the bumper cover and chin spoiler place them back in and drill a hole through these pieces as well so that when you do remount them the bolts from the chin spoiler slips through and you can remount them easily.

Looks good!

I installed my chin spoiler with 1/4" plastic push-rivets. If the chin spoiler happens to get ripped off the bumper won't get damaged.

Great job bouncing back from illness just a year ago to modding the Marauder again.

Thats the best to do it, start at the center and work your way out. It will never line up starting from the sides.

It came folded yes but it fixed it's self sitting on the floor in front of the heater in my dinning room while it waited to go on the car seeing it was still snowing out around here at the time. Or you could use a hair dryer to do it as well.

It was not a big bend or tight fit in the box so the fold was light and minimal.

I made it into and out of our driveway by the skin of my teeth without the spoiler hitting but I had to go in and out @ and angle street wise for it not to hit.

I'm going to install my spoiler tomorrow. So you removed all the nuts and bolts that hold the front cover on and replaced them with the push rivets? How is it holding up? I bought the plastic rivets today but have not had the chance to look at it since it was mother's day.:depress:

Part numbers below for the rotors. They are drilled, slotted and balanced directional rotors with a life time guarantee not to warp or crack.

680110PL

Right side front and rear

I know Rock Auto carries them. They use to be part of Raybestos Super Stop line but now are part of their Advance Tech line brake parts. There is a sale going on right now for them from Raybestos through Rock Auto parts. But I had gotten mine through a local parts store seeing they carried them.

Once I have the brakes on the car and done tomorrow I will pull her out and see what I can do with it. I don't have a heat gun but I am sure in the sun and a good hair dryer I should be able to take care of it as well. Or @ least I hope

I just tried to get the waves out of my aftermarket front grille with my heat gun and now it's worse. Time for a new OEM one.

The nose of our car is a bit longer than the mustangs so it will not go out to the very end of the bumper cover like it does the Mustang that is why they say it will not work.

But it looks and works fine for our car just doesn't sit exactly where it does on the mustang.

Many have put this on their cars already and have no issues with where it sits or how it looks.

It is not that hard a job to do yourself.

Take a trip to a local parts store and buy some cheap body style vice grip clamps with the extra wide opening in the center of them.

Use them to align it the way you want and hold it in place while you drill your holes.

On the first post of this thread is a picture of the vice grip clamps I am talking about I think it is the second picture they have blue ends on them.

Drive up to Raleigh, NC and I'll install it.

Use blue painters tape to mark the center of the spoiler and bumper. Use more tape or clamps to hold it in place. Drill your holes, push in the rivets.
