That is a laser cut polished stainless steel gods head the same O.D. as the oe emblem. check the thread i referenced ^^^^^. It was a seven piece set including 2 small god heads for fenders 2 MARAUDER emblems for fenders 2 larger god heads to replace mercury emblems and a set of bumber inserts.


Are those Ohio plates?

I was stationed in Ohio when i got the car. I liked it there and plan to go back so i didnt bother switching my registration to Tx.

His car is in excess of 170k mi and you would'nt even believe it unless you saw his odometer. BTW, the MURCURY plate that you see on his car is his actual license plate. The back looks even better because it only says Mercury (black plates) and MARAUDER (bumper inserts), no rear emblem...just blackness.

and classglass is like 20 minutes away from me. I kinda thought that was where the hood was from but it just looked a lot different than what i've seen on their site. I guess you can customize your hood because it just doesn't look as tall in the picture. I really like the subtleness, it keeps the "sleeper" image I love.

It is the same one but keep in mind that classglass makes a 2.5" and a 4" cowl hood. I actually called them today to see if they can consider making a hood with a 2.5" cowl that starts at the beginning of the hood like the 4". and a little bit wider than the traditional 2.5"s width. They said that they can but they wont make a new mold unless they can solidify at least 10 orders of it. So i know they wont do a single custom job. Maybe it looks that way from the picture angle.

Must be the angle, and also their website shows a silver birch Marauder (impalaslaya). Perhaps both of these play into the optical illusion. 4" is too high for me, but I like the 2.5"
