Hello everyone! Less than 6 months until Mauraderville IX!!!
Just have a couple questions....I've noticed some of you have replaced the factory Mercury emblems on the front and back with Godshead emblems...where did you get those? Also, painting the letters on the back bumper...where do I get the kit to do this?
Thanks a bunch!
FYI...blew up a ricer the other day:flamer:; didn't intend to, but he revved his little V-6 at me and I had to put him down...it gave me such a head rush that I got a headache...lol:D
Lovin' my MM! I don't hate going to work anymore...just hate being there.:mad2:

There are different ways to do the front & rear badges.
The wheel center cap mod
Buy complete badges from Car Motor Sports or Colex
The letters on the back bumper are either decals or stainless steel.
Bob White makes the decals
Stainless Steel Inserts used to make them, don't see "MARAUDER" ones on their website. I have a set on gold ones if your interested.

Still available through Action Auto Accessories, I bought a set from them last fall.

The decals aren't bad, but IMO, the inserts are better looking, and will hold up much longer.

I've had my SS inserts for 6 yrs now and just recently replaced them because someone hit my bumper and it had to be repainted so the shop had to pry them off.

Bought Her for my 40th B Day in August of 2004 @ Crest Lincoln Mercury
I thought I was the only one to buy their MM on their 40th birthday! That's cool...
Thanks for the help everyone.
Looks like I'm going down to FL sometime next month (I hope!) to visit Dennis and have him install 410 gears and get a dyno tune done.
Anyone got about $1,500 lying around they have no use for?
Hope I get my state tax refund check soon...that and a few dollars I've got squirreled away should pay for it, however I've got a plumber coming out first thing tomorrow morning to figure out why I've got sewage backing up into my house...if it's not one thing, it's another! Not as bad as having to go to the ER because you're puking up blood...that happened to me last weekend.
Guess I need to stop eating at Waffle House so much...:puke:
PS--My apologies for incorrectly spelling Marauder in the first post...I feel like such a tard sometimes....

I doubt that will happen unless I hit any kind of lottery.
Still too many plans I intend to do with my Marauder first. Next year is a custom ram air hood that is functional and all metal. Having this hood made I found a place willing to do it for me in Connecticut.
24445
Plus the S55 treatment to the rear lights.
I would have to start saving now to have enough cash to get a trilogy kit by my 50th B-Day. She is built up enough now HP wise I am happy and by then I am sure I would have to take apart and reinforce the engine to build it up more so it just is not in the cards and a waste seeing I do not race her.
