some one posted this before, nice car minus the police lights, nice silver birch wonder what these will go for?

Why show the car with the police lights, and even feature them in the listing.
For $31550, leave the light package. It is not illegal to have them, you just can't use them
Unless you are on offical business and you are Law enforcement.
Fun to use at car shows. Does attract attention.

It is if you turn them on, it's impersonating a police officer

Not if you use them on private property.

....Joe reads this, ponders throwing himself a bachlorette party and hiring male "cop" strippers....

I would check the VIN /OASIS closely on the DTR. Nice aftermarket components, but an MGM dual exhaust pkg. underneath?

It may not be illegal, but it sure is ghey. Also, nothing screams "wanna be" louder than putting some cop lights behind the grille and strobes in your turn signals. Professional LEO and Firefighters, please disregard the previous statement.

If you are not a police officer and you have flashing lights IMHO you are a wannabe of the highest order. If you want to be a police officer, many departments are hiring. Kinda like those guys who play paintball (or whatever) in their "army" uniforms but dont have the cojones to actually sign up for the military.

Same goes for the push-bar on a Marauder.

My 13 year old son wanted to have his birthday party at a paintball place. He and 9 of his friends had a blast. While I was watching 10 teen age boys run and dodge in between cover and obstacles, a "platoon" of BDU clad, bandoleer wearing geeks were mustering and chomping at the bit to get out on the fields to show off their awesome tactical abilities... One guy had his Air Force BDUs on with the "Air Force" tag still on the shirt. I was going to say something to him, but I did not want to make a scene at my son's birthday party. I wonder how many of these "warriors" would curl up in a little ball and call out for Mommy in a real tactical situation...:shake: On the other hand, I saw a bunch of Dads out on the course with their kids laughing and carrying on in their jeans and T shirts having a good 'ole time, taking it for what it was, a game. I guess it is all about perspective.

I agree it's a poser item - however it does offer some decent protection.
I'm not getting one, just saying I'd rather dent/scratch a push bar if when someone backs into the front of my MM...

Easy there, killer. I dress up in BDU's and play airsoft as I own an Airsoft Store. Half of the guys I play with are vets. My dad served in Vietnam as a Corpsman so I was not allowed to even go near a recruiter when I was younger.

Back to the car package, does anyone know what brakes those are on the DTR?
They look to be pretty decent, but the wheels help to get bigger pistons than the Wilwood kit.

Fronts look to be Wilwood GNII calipers with FSL rears. *Note the milled rib on the front for some wheel clearance.
Not my work but nice to see someone put in some time to make this.
