I was driving home from work when I noticed a slight hesitation/jerking around 40 to 60mph. I have never experience this problem before. This is all new to me..can anybody out there help please.thanks

Seriously, you may have a weak coil or corroded spring connectors between the coils and plugs!!:cool:
I chased the same type of jerking at a constant speed around 45 MPH for a year and finally got rid of it with GMS solid connectors....hasn't done it since in over 6 years and 175K miles!! BTW, I'm still running my original coils at 226K miles so my guess is the connectors or a bad plug!!:bandit:

sounds like its time for a set of plugs, and GMS connecters, as stated that should cure your hesitation/jerking.

I recently changed my plugs not to long ago..ill say maybe four months ago.

Sounds like a coil breaking up under load. You can have them tested at your local Ford dealer.
