Any problems such as warped rotors, excessive dust, squeaking, fitment problems etc.? How many miles on your kit?
I know that they look great, but would like to hear from those that actually have installed the front and/or rear kit before I make the plunge. Would you do this upgrade again? Yes I did do a search.
A PM would be fine too.
THANKS!

No problems here. (Front only so far).
I track my car and beat it regularly. Best upgrade to my MM yet.

I know a member here who has a set to install but it also needs pads and rotors.

I too have the Wilwood kit (front only) on my MM.

HELL YES!!!!
This is the best brake(ing) upgrade you could do to a Marauder.

The Willwood Kit is supurb and features a fixed not floating caliper design making it very positive and also adding to the time required to properly space the caliper install. It is time consuming to do correctly. Clearances are incredible tiny so fussy. The proper installation returns prodigious braking function. You need to know that these racing pads will when hot require mindfullness that sitting with the brakes depressed after several maximum stop efforts tend to adher some pad material to the rotor. These are racing brakes and need to be hard braked to remove the buildups for smooth stops. This proceedure becomes second nature in short order. The paybacks are huge. 20K with NO problems. Dennis

^^^^^^^^ what Dennis said^^^^^^^
I have front and rear on my MM, and wouldn't think twice to do it again. If you want good brakes, and good brake "feel", then this will fit the bill. They are racing brakes, they do produce a lot of dust as well.
I only have 3k on mine, 21k on the car, not my DD.....obviously.

Thanks for your replies everyone. It sounds as though it is a good kit and needs a little extra attention to detail on installation.

IMO, any brake work requires extra "attention", your life and everyone's around you depends on that. Going fast is fun, stopping is important.

The main benefits are fade resistance and feel. I'd never promise anyone that you'd shorten the stopping distance by 10ft. Tires meet the road and brakes only slow the tire.
What's nice is the response is firmer and quicker. (maybe some net gains in time) And they stop as well the 3rd, 4th and 5th time. Pad options can improve that some more also if you can put up with the dust and noise.
Warping? Sure, just like you can the stockers. Probably push it a bit harder before the damage is done. But I've always said "warped rotors (thermal shock, hot spotting, pad smear and dtv) are all sure signs of an automatic transmission stop". Meaning the damage is being generated post stop, not the slowing of the vehicle. Pad smear and hot spots are generated after the car is stopped and one's foot is planted firmly on the brake pedal holding the car. While the 13" rotor has more mass than the 12" rotor it might have but 10-15% more tolerance for this abuse. It will never become a solution for that type of abuse. (maybe if we did 16" rotors and had a yet greater heat sink!)
That said with some care and re training you can pound the crap out of them and enjoy the returns. Just cool them down before you park.

Listen to Todd! I got mine from him, and he's a really good guy to deal with!
I will be getting my rears from him sometime soon as well. :)
