2004 Marauder Black Light Flint

Just testing the waters here. I am getting ready to sell my MM. I am looking into getting an F150 Raptor. So I trust this site so much I want to hear from you guys what I should ask for it and if any ones interested please let me know here are the details

2004 Mercury Marauder Black w/Light Flint interior
-Car has 92,000 miles mostly highway.
-Always serviced by me at my dealership I work at.
-Kooks long tube headers to kooks high flow cats to Aero Turbine Mufflers
-Brand new Megs Res delete tips.
-Also have a pair of magnaflow mufflers.
-Pioneer Headunit
-Infinity Kappa Speakers powered by MTX Amp
-2 JL Audio 10w3 subwoofers powered by JL Audio Amp
-5% tint all around with eyebrow on front windshield
-Very clean inside and out washed at least once a week.
-Viper remote start and alarm system
-New tires all around last month

If his asking price is $10,100, and that's what he wants to get out of it, doesn't make any difference if he's offered less, he doesn't have to accept the offer.

Actually, that's great price, and LF interiors are rare in black cars, so this oughta go fast if someone's looking for one with this combo.

This car is 1 Of 156 2004's built with black exterior/ light flint interior. They only made 115 in this combo in 2003.

Like the man points out, very rare combination, I've actually only seen one Blk/LF car a few years back at a MV.

I say it goes to someone who will take good care of her... and if said person would try to sell it in the future ... give the previous owner the respect of first right to refusal. That way there may be a possibility in say 10, 20 years, or whatever the time frame may be there's an opportunity for the seller to own his own car once again! Especially with something this rare, it would be the honorable thing to do...

Well there you go every one says this is a dam good deal. Flint int is rare. And to take the buyers side these cars go for over book value it's hard finding one like this for book value also. If I found this car two months earlier this would of been a done deal already.

wow i wish i was in a better position than i am right now to seriously consider this. I would be a perfect second owner with my panther ownership and experience. that would be the IDEAL combination with the list of mods i want :( unfortunately i am still a month away from this :(

Is the F150 Raptor a limited production truck? How soon do you want to purchase? Can you wait a year or two for the price of the Raptor to come down? Try Carmax and see what there price is. It all comes down to what you want (in price) and will settle for.

We all remember the first Kenny Brown Marauder, it was owned by a Lawyer here in Chicago. He kept the car for a year, then Mac purchased it from him and sold his Marauder to Carmax (which went to a guy in Texas). Even Carfixer sold his SC Marauder for a fair price. You usually get what the market can bear, I see KBB values are INFLATED in price. Check and see previous Marauders for the price and equipment they had in the for sale section here.

Hey sorry guys ive been real busy , im no loinger going to be getting the raptor . just way too much of an expense I want to take right now . I have been to the dealer near me looking at other trucks and was ready to commit to one but they had sold it an hour before i had got there. Also they apraised my car at $9000 for a trade in . So I will be getting back to you guys that have PM . Once again I apolagize. Parting from a MM isnt the easiest thing to do.

$9,000 for a trade in!!!! LOL dealer games!!!!!!! I posted up here before 2003 Mauraders are getting around 6-7,000 at the auction here in Chicago, then they tack on another 3-5 and put on lot unless it's a real low mileage car, then add more.

9K is a fair trade in price for this car. Not sure where this 6 to 7K at auction is coming from. Those must be high mileage beat up cars. Dealer will (if they get the car for 9) will most likely end up selling it for 11 to 12.

Sorry, big V8 RWD cars are not desirable to many. the dealer gave me 8k for mine when I traded it in almost 3 years ago... mine only had 57k on it.

Sorry, big V8 RWD cars are not desirable to many. the dealer gave me 8k for mine when I traded it in almost 3 years ago... mine only had 57k on it.

I was able to squeeze out $6,500 from a deal on my trade in with 114K on the clock, a few OE parts missing (just the "marauder" branded stuff), and an A/C Blend Door problem (would clack like crazy and eventually quit trying if I ever tried to switch from hot air to cold.). I guess I should consider myself lucky, how sad. :( Still miss that car though...

No rust . Normal paint you would expect from these marauders . Front bumper is the worst case . It does have wear from driving on the highway all the time
