Had a guy today follow me to a parking lot and told me to roll down my window (i thought i was going to get car-jacked so i pulled my .45 out of the map pocket between my legs) and he asks me what my car is. I said Marauder and he had no idea what it was. Then he asked if i would sell it to him and i said its not for sale. Honestly, does he think that i really thought that he would buy my car? If i said 20k you think he wouldve said "sure"? lol come on people.

It hasnt been the first time... anyone else?

I was offered a good amount for my 04 SB -- sold it and bought my DPB. The offers have come twice already. For the right offer, I would sell ... course that right offer would be over 20K.

Had a guy aproach me at a cruise in, wanting to buy it, till I told him the price, his response " naw man, how much do you really want for it".

I should have just doubled it, he just wanted to paint it purple and put yellow 26" wheels on it.

I've had numerous inquiries, I usually tell them it's not for sale, but depending on the attitude of the person, I may jack them around a bit.

If the guy acts cocky or is a smart azz, I may respond with "Let's start at $20,000 and go up from there"... ;)

Lol, my younger brother had sharp Cutlass 442, beautiful color blue, t-tops. I guess it was an 80's model. My 81 Z-28 would crush it, but it looked 1,000% better than mine. I think he traded it for slammed mini-truck when those stupid things were popular.

Have a guy with a 01 white lightning w/140k who regularly makes me offers for a trade. See him during the evening commute all the time and it's in fair shape. Not that well maintained and would need some love to get it where I would need it to be.

I always tell him the Lightning plus $8k and he tells me it's to much. I just reply I'm not the one asking to trade my car and if his truck was in such great shape he wouldn't be trying to unload it in traffic .

I get the "Let me have the keys." or "When are you going to take let me it for a spin?" From a lot of customers. I just tell them it's low on gas and they are going to have to fill it up with Premium and they usually back off. I have had some seemingly serious inquirers and I'll give them a price, but If they are joking around I tell them that everything is for sale for the right price.
