Yep thats about it! I got them and on dyno with them open lost 4rwhp and gained only 1lbtq there just fun to mess with people with.

I did something once just to try it and the car felt like it lost so much power like 20lb/tq

It sure feels like it. No joke on Highway open it looses some grunt.

That is because you lose back pressure, which in turn doesn't allow the exhaust system to scavenge the gasses as it should.

Isn't that DOOM doing a flyby? I know he never had cutouts.

With the stroker motor and Trilogy set-up -I actually gained 20 horsepower when we ran the car with the cut-outs opened on Lidio's dyno. Even he was surprised about the HP gain.
