We went to Jax Raceways today for test & tune. It was sunny and 80 deg. I had never run at a racetrack before so there is still much to learn. I did however have a blast! I ran 8 times with someone in the other lane and twice without. My r/t on my first run was a sorry 1.001 but that came down to a best of .551. Best run was 9.621@75.37 mph with a 2.279 60 ft. time. The best part is I was never beaten. I raced a SVT Focus 4 times, a 2001 Lightning ( I don't know what happened to him, he ran 10.776), a Blazer, 3 Hondas (gosh, I LOVE beating Hondas) and my favorite race of the day a 300zx with no interior. I ran 9.643@75.50 on a .591 r/t. He ran a 9.286@78.67 on a 1.079 r/t. My margin was .1301.
Looks like it's time for underdrives and a DR exhaust. I think I'm hooked.:D

Gainesville Raceway is about an hour away, other than that our 1/8 mile is the only one I'm aware of. I figured that for the first time ever at a track that this would at least introduce me to the whole experience. A trip to Gainesville is in the near future though. Does anyone know if you can extrapolate an approx. 1/4 mile e/t from 1/8 mile numbers?

Add about 5 seconds to that and its right around what you should run. P.S. this is just rule of thumb not set in concrete. My best run at Norwalk was a 1/8th...9.917 1/4th 15.214.

15.02, but the Marauder pulls well past the 1/8. I don't know if the math can reflect it in the formula.
