4r100??? Ask Brian (Fordnut).
4L80E for mod motors setup is good for 800-1400 hp. As with most things for our cars custom modifications will be needed.

Some of us already have the TH400 and gear vendor in their car. I'm not sure I'd put this in my daily driver, but it is awesome in ProRauder on the strip and the street!

I'd just get a LenTech-built 4R75W.
Unless you're making really big torque it'll be adequate.
I absolutely love my 4R100 and wouldn't change back for anything, but it was a MAJOR job. And very, very, very expensive.

Give DR a shout, he can get you a built 4R70 or 75 including the stage 2 upgrades for a pretty decent price. Drop it in and go!

I would seriously consider selling my TH400 GV Over/Under setup to get a Bruno/Jeffco setup...

What are the advantages you see with that setup?

Correct. These are planetary units, just the the gear vendors over/under drive and can be shifted under full load.

Yes, that one is a three speed. You can get a 4 speed versions just by adding another planetary unit.
