ok I broke down and bought the sct flash tuner(hope the wife doesn't find out.lol) was just wondering if there was a thread on these things or if it is pretty straight forward. any info will help-thank you in advance

Who'd you buy it from? If you got it from either Lidio or Dennis Reinhart, the tune's already loaded in it; plug it into your OBDII port, follow the directions on the package to download the tune. Plug 'n Play.

thats what I'm thinking.I thought it came pre-loaded.I was too excited when it jumped of the shelf and in to my hands.

I'd return it and buy one from Lidio or Dennis. You might be able to buy a tune from one of these guys, but it would probably be cheaper to just return it and start over.

You got it on the cheap I hope. A mail order tune wont cost you more than 25.00 from Bamachips.com

I did get a good deal.unfortunatly there was a no return policy because of sale.I am intersted in the mail order tune.I will check that out asap.I was worried there for a minute.

Then I would suggest you call my self or Lidio and we do not sell 25.00 tunes, but I we both do stand behind our tunes and I offer free upgrades at N/C and allmost 24/7 tech support.

I sell a Xcal 3 for MAP pricing of 379.95 but I offer free shipping any SCT dealer can send you a tune you just need to send the serial # of the Xcal call me any time if I can help further.

You have the tuner, no tune and can't return it. You purchase a tune from dealer of choice, they'll ask questions on current parameters and if you plan on future mods, gears, CAI, 89, 91, 93 octane gas and so forth. They email you the tune(s) and you upload them to your computer (you need to have the software drivers for your SCT tuner installed sctflash.com) plug the sct usb cable into your computer and upload the tune(s). Then you can flash the cars PCM.

You won't go wrong with that, Dennis has been tuning Marauders since day 1.

I agree a tune from Dennis would be ideal being his many years of Marauder experience, as for Bamachips I'm not impressed with them since they jumped into bed with AmericanMuscle I find loads of people have issues with their tunes on many other forums.
