My friend got an alignment today on his MM but him and the mechanic forgot to turn the air suspension back on. He drove the car approx. 15 miles before turning it on. Well now the air suspension isn't coming back on.

I tried adding wait to the trunk but still nothing. Any advice??

Thanks

Did the light go out on the dash when he turned the switch back on? Try shutting the car down for a few minutes then start it back up.

I wasn't with him and he doesn't remember if the light was on while driving. Tried your suggestion, Nothing.

also did he get it aligned to the specifications listed on this site?

May need to disconnect battery for a few minutes.

Is the back sitting on the ground? If its at normal ride height the compressor won't come on. Another option is to remove the rod on the watts link that controls the ride height. Move it either up or down then turn the key on and wait 30 seconds for it to adjust.

Yes, it's sitting on the ground. I test drove it after i weighted it down and the ride is rough so i know its sitting down. Where are the watts link?

Under the car above the rear is a stud holding 2 bars that extend to each side of the inner frame. On one of them is the ride adjustment rod. The rod can easily unclip from the watts link. Try moving it up or down, then turn the key and wait for the compressor. If the light is on then don't waste your time.

You can remove the rod and move it by hand to get the compressor to come on. I tried this when I replaced my Watts link. With the car off, remove the rod and push it up, Then turn on the key and wait 30 seconds to see if the compressor kicks on. Make sure the air suspension light is not lit on the dash or don't bother doing this if its on.

Dead center. The part that's bolted to the top of the body and connected to the watts link.

Yes key in RUN position. You also have to wait about 30 seconds too. Its not instant.
