looked in to this a while ago. basically, anything that gets hot it wont hold up.

looked in to this a while ago. basically, anything that gets hot it wont hold up.

We had parts chromed with either this or a very similar process several years ago. The coil covers and air box on the Firehawk turned yellow in a very short period of time.

Yeah I wouldn't put it on any engine part unless it was a plastic piece or something. Engine stuff needs to have high temp engine paint or powder coating for it to really stand up.
