Look under the dash for a box that might have the company that made the alarm. Also check inside the remote for a part number or model number.

Is that the key fob off your Marauder? Looks different than mine.

Should be able to pick one up from a Ford dealer, but it will have to be programmed to your car.

PM frdwrnch for the details on programming, I don't recall the programming sequence for it.

Thats Code Alarm, which is now owned by Audiovox. Unfortunetly they do make a few with similar looking remotes so without knowing the model I can't tell ya which transponder you need. Best hope would be trying to look at that box under the dash all over and see if you can find a model somewhere.

Ford also used that remote on some of thier alarm systems (Gold Series, etc) but it was still a Code Alarm, just installed by ford.

Why not just go to a Ford dealer and buy one? That is the original you got with your car is it not?

Should just be two zipties holding it on you can remove and replace, ill look at mine on my 00 vic and see where the label is. Doesn't look like the factory marauder remote to me, could have had Ford install one after the fact...or it is Code Alarm via aftermarket installation. Either way is Code Alarm internals. If Ford installed it and you can't find the sticker, then Ford would know which it is Gold, Silver, etc. Any writing left on remote that says anything inside or out?

Google the FCC ID, it is usually unique to a model/series, you may get lucky...

Kewl... There will be some programming required for the new remote, hopefully instructions are included, if not maybe can be found on the net or someone familiar with these can give some pointers...
